I have a question regarding one of my client who is using 4IPNET WH325.
They've connected their wireless controller in to their core switch. Now they want to use this controller only for the AP management, user authentication, captive portal etc. But they don't want to place this in between the data-path. I mean they need only off path deployment since they don't want to use any quota policies, firewall etc on this controller since they have a separate firewall and a proxy.
They are having several WLANs and they use 'TAG PORT' option in the controller.
Please let me know If i'm going to create all the VLAN interfaces of the WLANs on the core switch and define each DHCP pool on the same core switch with the default gateway set to the core switch VLAN interface and release those details to the wireless dhcp client will it work for me.
